We are considering the name Adeline for baby April. A survey of people named Adeline say that the most common complaint about the name is that "old people" sing the Elliot Smith song "Sweet Adeline" too much. I asked TB if he knew the song and he started singing "Sweet Adeline, good times have never been so good" (to the tune of Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond). Then he tried "Oh my darlin' oh my darlin' oh my darlin' Adeline" to the tune of ...Clementine. I sang "She'll be comin' round the mountain, Adeline" but he said that song was already about a girl named Shelby. HA! HA! Maybe you didn't know that TB can sing a jingle for almost any situation.
Now some stories about a smaller funny guy. Isaac plays the piano every day. Mostly he turns on some rhythm setting and dances. He just came up with a new little shimmy accompanied by jazz hands. In this video, he's watching TB dance at first, then he joins in.
He's missing a shoe in these videos because he took one off and hid it. He likes to take things from where they belong to wherever he wants them to be. I found a little shoe a couple of hours later in my closet.
He always reads on his morning commute - usually the Money section of the paper.

Here's a video of the baby sitting on the floor in only a diaper, eating Lucky Charms while lecturing TB and me about something. I just wanted to document that he's a bossy little sucker, and I'm not the perfect mother that you all think I am.

He is such a smart kid! The fact that he is reading on his morning commute is showing. He has so many great tricks, and he has a lot to say. I love all his curls!
Love the name of Adeline. I guess you know that Todd's great grandma's name was Alice Adeline southam cook. She was the cream of the crop-an amazing lady. Isaac continues to be so adorable.

Wow!! You're pregnant!! And it's a girl I presume? How wonderful!! It seems that you make adorable kids so she should be a beauty. Kayla (my 7 year old) has a good friend named Adeline- very cute name!! I love it! Sometimes they call her Addy- her little sister is named Caroline (keeping with the ..ine's).
