Now we're in trouble
Jovie climbed out of her crib and opened her bedroom door during naptime yesterday. I put her back in the crib. She said, "Again?" and climbed right out. We turned her crib into a toddler bed last night and took the handle off her doorknob so we can lock her in. She fell out of bed once, but stayed in her room with no crying. Wish me luck at naptime today.

I heard a creaking just now, so I went to her room just in time to see her open the door. She stepped out with a big smile and said, "I'm not sleepy." She had taken a box of diaper changing accessories (and the doorknob which I thought was hidden!) off her dresser and covered everything in it with vaseline. She deftly re-installed it on the door and let herself out. I picked her up and she said, "Don't mom. You're a trouble-maker."
You've got a genius on your hands. Good luck cleaning up all the vaseline. We no longer have any of that stuff in our home.
