We started out the day at preschool because I was volunteering and Jovie was just joining in.

I really wanted Rob Dahle to win the election for Holladay mayor. So I emailed all the neighbors I about early voting, printed a bunch of polling maps, told all the parents at preschool, and sat out in my driveway on election day waving these homemade signs. The kids joined me for a while. Lots of people waved or gave me a thumbs up, but not everybody. I pointed a few people to the polls, and...
Rob Dahle won by 142 votes. Amazing!
We ate at Gepetto's because we were celebrating Holladay and it's a neighborhood institution.
