Funny things from the kids

Here's a round up of funny kid sayings for the benefit of my non-Facebook loved ones:

April 23
Jovie: What does "never" mean?
Me: Not ever.
J: Like, not even when you're dead and mummified?

April 11
Me: What should we put on our dessert pizza?
Ikey: Chocolate chips and mustard.
Me: Wouldn't caramel be better?
Ikey: Yes. Caramel and mustard.
So we did and he ate it and gave it a thumbs up.

March 28
The three-year-old just adopted an English accent. Weird. I was like seven when I tried that... and I was just trying to cover up the fact that I couldn't pronounce Rs.

March 19
"When you die, can I have all your shirts and be in charge of all your shoes?" said the little one, completely off-topic. I don't have particularly nice shirts or shoes, so she's destined to be disappointed.

Feb 26
We made fancy steak-house-style wedge salads for the kids. Jovie said, "Blue cheese is ugly. It tastes like pencils." I agree, but I like it.

Feb 26
Ikey asked me to cut pieces of cheese to fit exactly on top of a WheatThin. I did it with ease. He said, "Whoa. I never thought you were that smart, but you're smart enough to get them just the right size without measuring. Pretty good, mom."
