We started out with dinner at Caitie's house, then three moms took seven kids to the Hutchings Museum in Lehi for Night at the Museum. The kids were a little scared and a little amazed at the big dinosaur skeleton in the front doors.
The Easter Island guy was there! We talked to Christopher Columbus and lots of Army guys.
Scientists let the kids hold a meteorite from Argentina and a coprolite (fossilized dinosaur poop).
Ikey locked Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid in jail. Sacajawea told us stories and a flapper danced the Charleston. There was a mermaid and pirates and an Egyptian room. The kids checked out a rabbit and some Harris hawks.
Ikey held a little python.
Did you notice how he patted it sweetly when he handed it off to cousin Coco?
This brave lady showed off half of her collection (the least dangerous half) of spiders, cockroaches, scorpions, lizards. Indiana Jack showed us his collection of "ancient artifacts" in that they were forgeries that he made. Pretty cool!
We went for brown-toppers at Arctic Circle after and it was just perfect.
