We're reading the Laura Ingalls Wilder series and we're on By the Shores of Silver Lake. We always read at bedtime, and usually before naps too. Jovie reads all the letters in the chapter headings, Ikey reads the first page of the chapter, and I read the rest. Jovie has started sounding out some of the words, so we were practicing at Costco where she recognized Jazz and Bee Sweet. This is quite exciting!
Caitie threw a really fun dump truck birthday party for little Benny and the kids had tons of fun playing with cousins.
