Natural History Museum of Utah

We went behind the scenes at the museum and checked out the exhibit preparator's space and the collections. We were hoping to see Dr. Scott the Paleontologist, but no such luck.

 

The trails around the museum were kind of muddy, but still pretty. You can hardly hike far enough for Ikey anymore.

Ikey said he thought we were hiking through a dream in this little forest. The kids made objects out of recycled material for a little installation in the Grand Canyon of the museum. Jovie choose to make an indian blanket out of a Kit Kat bag, and Ikey made... a train out of a lightbulb box.
