Utah County Art Museums

We visited the BYU Museum of Art. The Minerva Teichert collection and an industrial photograph exhibit were my favorite.
The kids made name pictures in the classroom.
As soon as we pulled up to the Springville Art Museum, I realized that we have been there before, when Ikey was a little baby.

I really liked the collections at this museum. The kids really liked the interesting architecture (curvy stairwells with windows and lots of balconies) and a water machine.
I gave the kids a couple of choices for lunch and Ikey said, "I want the one with Trolley for a last name." So we ate at Art City Trolley which was a cool motorcycle-themed restaurant with a real trolley to sit in.
They're singing "Everyone on the trolley!"

A downpour started just as we stepped out of the restaurant and we were soaked in the one minute it took to walk back out to our car.

Our plans for the rest of the day were waylaid by the rain storm, so we went to Magleby's in Springville which very sophisticated, but nice to three wet people. We got great service and one huge piece of chocolate cake.

The rain made Springville look very shiny and so close to the mountains.
