S & S Shortline, Maddox Drive-In, Brigham City Depot
We met the Eberhard family in Farmington at S&S Shortline to ride the little and big trains and power the handcars around the track. Eric is an award-winning and very brave Airman who served our country in the Middle East and it was really nice to see him in person after years and years of not seeing him. Little Sophie just celebrated her first birthday yesterday, and she's a real cutie. Little Cade tried to stay with us at the train park after his family made an exit. Alyssa and Gracie are sweet and friendly little girls who shared their fruit snacks. Breezy is a good old friend who is always working hard on a new project.
This was Grandma Rainey's first trip to S&S Shortline. We love it when she joins our adventures.
Grandma Rainey treated us to lunch at Maddox Drive-In in Brigham City where we had buffalo burgers and shakes. Ikey ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with bacon, and by that, he means bacon on the side.
We dropped in on Brigham City Train Depot during visiting hours, but it was closed, which made the little boy cry. We'll have to call ahead next time. It's a pretty building with nice flowers!
It was a very trainy day.
