The balloon festival started at 7:30am, and when we got our sleepy little heads there at 9am, they'd already floated, deflated, packed up and were just driving away. So don't be late to a balloon festival! We played on the playground instead.
We helped the Wans help the Faucheuxes move a little bit more stuff, got a new bed for Ikey's room, chased the Tour of Utah up Little Cottonwood Canyon and watched the exciting finish of the race on a big screen in a tent at the bottom of the canyon with a bunch of other bikefans.
We went to the evening "glow" of the balloon festival and got up close to the balloons and all the fuel and flames. It made Isaac and me nervous, but we all agreed it was really pretty.
