The kids woke up early, turned on the lights in our downstairs tree, hid stuffed animals all over the basement and set out cookies and milk for Santa. In the morning... on December 6th... Apparently, the only thing they get from their advent calendars is chocolate, because they have no idea how many days are left until Christmas.
We picked up Grandma Rainey and headed for the Festival of Trees our tradition for the past two years.
We especially liked the tree that included a volcano.
Grandma Rainey treated us to cinnamon rolls.
