Fall Leaves

Ikey made some jack-o-lantern cookies... ...then he made a "cookie phone" and called Grandma Rainey.
The boys worked hard to rake up leaves in our new tree-filled yard. Luckily they had rakes to lean on ocassionally.
Payoff!
Bean was working hard too. Can you see yellow leaves on Ikey's head?

Halloween

We dressed up like cowboys (TB said "cow people") for our friend Santie's Halloween birthday. Of course we rode the train at the zoo...
I am obviously a jack-o-lantern. Bean is warm, and Ikey is Cowboy Woody. TB was a really good sport and dressed up like Cowboy Woody too.

Beanie dressed up like a duck for our outing to Gardner Village.

Two monkey cousins!

Ikey was a monkey again at Red Butte Garden After Dark.
TB and Ikey launched our family's lantern on the pond at the garden.

My first try at face painting! Ikey was appropriately admiring.
TB and Ikey decorated this jack-o-lantern while Beanie and I cuddled to stay warm.

All Aboard!

It is SO FUN to ride on an old steam train on the Heber Valley Railroad. Ikey met the REAL train engineer, picked out a great pumpkin at the pumpkin patch, ate a chocolate chip cookie, and even drove the horses on the hay ride. This was the first costume of the Halloween season: a train engineer.
