Golf Lessons at Bonneville Golf Course

We have a beautiful 86-year-old golf course practically in our front yard. The kids took lessons at Bonneville Golf Course for a week this summer. Neither of them passed off Level 1, but I haven't either, so big deal.

Bear Lake

Since TB was off celebrating Father's Day in California, the kids and the mom went to Bear Lake for a little paradise. We stayed with the Taylors at their condo and we swam, collected shells, played mini-golf, rode on the boat, and ate raspberry shakes.

Todd's Birthday and Father's Day

TB made us steak and we made him a birthday cake.

TB wanted to go on vacation with friends for his birthday and Father's Day, so we took him to breakfast at Blue Plate and acted weird.
Then we dropped him at the airport, and he went to the paradise that is Dan and Pete's compound on Coronado. They rode bikes to Mexico, participated in the Low Tide Ride & Stride, ate healthy food and acted all California-y.
Todd and Freeman enjoy coffees on the ride.

TB rocks some retro bike gloves on the bike.

True.

Little Red Bike Century

We had a smaller crowd than last year, which was too bad, because we had a big and delightful (and slightly scary) farmhouse in Corinne.

The weather was beautiful the next morning when we started.

We were only 20 miles in when we got sandwiched by a super-aggressive, but not highly-skilled group and Nicole went down. She got road rash on her knuckles and knee and a big bruise on her hand, a rip in her jacket and her shoe.  I might have just cried and quit if I were her, but she's a tough one, so she just checked in for a bandaid at the next medical tent and kept pedaling.
The course went into Idaho!

I hate going fast. My top speed is usually 25 mph, so I really let it rip downhill this time.
Far enough!

Eating comprehension and school carnival

You've got to watch this video of Jovie singing an original song:  https://youtu.be/5fimnvsC3RI

I sneaked a piece of apple into Ikey's hand this morning and he ate the whole thing without noticing.

Ikey had a great day at the school carnival with his new school friends.

I introduced Jovie to Keilei and that sweet Kindergartener took my little girl's  hand and stayed with her for the whole party. I just love kind kids!
