Universal Studios

I went to Universal Studios totally by myself and I felt a little lonely, but I did like the frozen butter bear, the Dragon Challenge roller coaster, Hogwarts Railroad, and both Harry Potter World parks.

I loved the Merry Grinchmas show, the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade (imitation), and the Manheim Steamroller concert.

Epcot Center with Family

...but not all of my family. Nic and I took the red-eye to Orlando where Aunt Jo picked us up to deliver us a her sweet condo by a lake.
We met up with Cousin TJ and Cousin Kelsey Jo at a fun restaurant the first night, then we hit Epcot Center early the next morning. I LOVED IT.

I met Whoopi Goldberg, and by that I mean I screamed "Whoopi Goldberg" right in her face in "England", then watched her at the Candlelight Processional that evening.

I was there when the park opened and I was there when it closed that evening. Oh man, it was fun.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We started the day with a parade-watching, bagel-eating party at Faucheux's home. We served coffee cake decorated with Minecraft characters to celebrate Isaac's birthday.

We ate a hearty turkey lunch at Grandma Rainey's with Shane, Stormy (home from college at SUU), Sierra, and Ross. Then back to Faucheux's for a big turkey dinner and lots of cousins.

First ski day this season

We picked up our passes at Canyons and hit the slopes at Park City. The first run was a little shaky because we were just remembering how to run the skis, but we got into the groove pretty quickly.

We need to remember to put Jovie's hair up so it isn't in her eyes all day.

Family Fun Day at Macy's

We heard that there was a party going on at Macy's in City Creek Center. We found a craft table, animals from the zoo, face-painters, balloon artists, cookies and hot chocolate.
