Little Red Bike Century

We had a smaller crowd than last year, which was too bad, because we had a big and delightful (and slightly scary) farmhouse in Corinne.

The weather was beautiful the next morning when we started.

We were only 20 miles in when we got sandwiched by a super-aggressive, but not highly-skilled group and Nicole went down. She got road rash on her knuckles and knee and a big bruise on her hand, a rip in her jacket and her shoe.  I might have just cried and quit if I were her, but she's a tough one, so she just checked in for a bandaid at the next medical tent and kept pedaling.
The course went into Idaho!

I hate going fast. My top speed is usually 25 mph, so I really let it rip downhill this time.
Far enough!

Eating comprehension and school carnival

You've got to watch this video of Jovie singing an original song:  https://youtu.be/5fimnvsC3RI

I sneaked a piece of apple into Ikey's hand this morning and he ate the whole thing without noticing.

Ikey had a great day at the school carnival with his new school friends.

I introduced Jovie to Keilei and that sweet Kindergartener took my little girl's  hand and stayed with her for the whole party. I just love kind kids!

Ikey's Kindergarten Graduation

Ikey and Ms. Harms, who is a calm and cheerful teacher.
The Kindergarten graduation program was cute. Ikey had a tough year with one teacher that was unreasonably mean, and switching schools when everybody already had friends picked out. He's smart and brave and likable, so he made it. We love him like crazy.

Ikey earns the Excellent Eagle

Ikey had to do a list of extra assignments and goals to earn the Excellent Eagle award. There was a cute little ceremony and he got a medal and a high-five from Dr. Arnoldson, so it was worth it.

Jovie's Preschool Graduation

Jovie had the best teachers in Preschool, and such nice friends. Everybody was  pretty much friends with everybody else. Jovie came home just about every day with notes that friends had written to her in writing center.
The friends sang and danced for the preschool graduation program. It was adorable, as expected.

I made this movie for the Preschool graduation program. Everybody cried. Well, the adults cried. http://youtu.be/kShnj7g3O1s

Mikelson said that Jovie was his best friend in preschool.

These three were always having fun.
