Hike in Iron Canyon

Get the baby all bundled up for a snowy hike.

Put him in dad's back pack for an uphill adventure.The mom will have to carry the baby April. Woah!

This is Isaac and me on almost the same hike a year ago. Frozen yogurt is a good treat.
I am sure I say "you are so cute" as many times a day as I say "drink your milk". He's a gorgeous baby, but not a good eater.

Christmas Celebrations

We had a very fun holiday season with a cute little boy around. Isaac LOVES his Cozy Coupe. He helped us put it together. He really like to push Clancy around the house in the little car.He likes to chill in his igloo tent. He is shouting "Thank You" in this picture for all his generous gifts. We watched ski jumpers at the Utah Olympic Park with a bunch of his cousins. Isaac went for his first ski run with TB at Alta. He was a total trooper in cold and snowy weather, and slept through most of the 3.5 hour drive down the canyon.

He looked so cute dressed up in a weird holiday hat. Just for the record, his dad would never make him wear this. That's what moms are for. We have the perfect sledding hill in our back yard.

Christmas Nativity

My family staged the cutest nativity play with all the little kids as stars and all the grown ups as crew. Mary was played by a sweet little Chloe.Isaac Joseph played Joseph, and he probably wins the award for grouchiness during the play which is just out of character for my sweet baby boy. It's probably my fault because I think I poked him in the eye with his hammer just before he went on stage. Our only big kid, Dallin, was a great shepherd.

The little guy Miles looks like a doll in his shepherd costume.The wisemen were brilliantly played by Heber...Clancy...and Henry.Baby Sarah was slated to be the angel, but her nap time coincided with the timing of the play. The understudy was a stuffed gorilla in a bumbo chair.

These kids are so cute and talented. I can't wait to see their next production.

Cousins

Isaac was lucky to see all of his cousins for Christmas. These pretty girls are his Burrows cousins...This crazy bunch is the Faucheux cousins...Merry Christmas from our little family!

New York City

We love to go on vacation to New York City. I wanted to see all the Christmas festivities, so we headed out the week after Thanksgiving. Isaac travels in style on the plane. Isaac hung out at L'Esquina waiting for a taco.

It was so cold!

I always drag the crowd to the Today Show.

I also dragged TB to the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall to see the Rockettes.

We had a wonderful time with the Laydens. Isaac got so much attention from the five girls and "uncle" Mitch that he has seemed a little bored with just TB and me since we're back home.

We walked from one fantastic dinner to the next.

We took a rainy walk to Central Park.

1st Birthday

Unfortunately, the baby didn't feel well on his first birthday, so we had to cancel his little party. He enjoyed cake for breakfast the next day though. My sisters and my friends make very fancy birthday cakes. This one is supposed to look like a snowball. I am not very fancy at cakes.

He seemed to like the cake and made a big mess like he is supposed to. TB is pretty sure that Isaac's favorite cake is chocolate with white frosting, which is TB's favorite too. I think the baby girl will like chocolate frosting like I do.

Happy Birthday Baby Boy!

Our sweet little boy is 1 year old at 9:30 this morning. We can't believe how big and smart and fun Isaac is. This has been the shortest year of our lives!
