Zion National Park

Here's Ikey in front of Isaac Peak in the Court of the Patriarchs.
Jovie was worn out on this hike so she took a rest on this interpretive sign on the Riverside Walk.

The kiddos build cairns in Cairn Valley near the river.

Here's everyone in front of Isaac Peak.
We visited the ghost town of Grafton, which is a short drive from the park down a dirt road. It was AWESOME, and muddy.

January news

Jovie helps make muffins.

Everybody has a ski pass!

Ikey and TB hit the slopes.

Do you think Jovie is too tiny to go to the dentist? She is, but she was nice about it anyway.

I learned how to put Jovie's hair in pony tails. She calls it "pony hair".

Herald Angel Singing...

Ikey made this movie of himself singing. Make sure you wait for his big finish.
He sings ALL THE TIME. We were listening to The Wizard of Oz soundtrack as we drove down the canyon from skiing and he said, "Please turn this music off. It's hard to drink my hot chocolate because I have to sing." Once he finished his drink, he wanted the music back on.

We are trying to record Jovie singing, but Ikey always just drowns her out.

Skiing for the first time!

We took Jovie skiing for the first time today. She was awesome. I have no idea if we know how to teach a not-quite-two-year-old how to ski. The just-barely-three-year-old went untethered today. He loved it and we had SO MUCH FUN!

Now we're in trouble

Jovie climbed out of her crib and opened her bedroom door during naptime yesterday. I put her back in the crib. She said, "Again?" and climbed right out. We turned her crib into a toddler bed last night and took the handle off her doorknob so we can lock her in. She fell out of bed once, but stayed in her room with no crying. Wish me luck at naptime today.
