He borrowed my camera and took this picture of his little feet.

Two cute kids in a new place...
We moved into our new house in Holladay on July 3rd. Isaac helped unpack.
He likes to eat pancakes on the deck.

Babies everywhere!
Beautiful baby Jovie likes to cuddle with her dad.
This is Isaac at about the same age in about the same place...
It's fun to dress Jovie up in pretty sun dresses. Since I can't hold her up and take her picture at the same time, she just lays on the couch or in her bed for all these photo shoots. Check back in a couple of months and she should be able to sit up.

Isaac is a crazy little man - very funny and very smart. I swear he does wear clothes most of the time, just not in pictures.

Baby Burrows
I mean BURROS!
HA! TB hates that joke.
This is long-haired Isaac at a picnic with Jovie. I quit cooking while we are working on buying a house, so he was eating something I swore he'd never have: Chicken McNuggets.
I cut Isaac's hair on about his 18 month birthday. My mom almost cried because he lost all his curls. He looks like a cute little boy though, and he seems happy with the results.
Baby Jovie Bean (just Bean to Isaac) is so sweet and happy. She's got chubby cheeks and chubby legs and lots of crazy hair. She slept for seven hours one night and nine hours the next. She's kind of an angel.
She seems happy at our house. Isaac mostly ignores her, but he really was interested in the vibrating and music features on her bouncy chair.

New pics and stories
This is the first time I gave Jovie a bath. TB did it at the hospital, so he just had to supervise. At first, I was doing ok...
then not so great...
but in the end she was clean and happy.

Here's Jovie moving her arms and looking around. These are her best tricks for right now. She's sweet and easy.

The other day I found a bottle stashed in there. Do you see it? Luckily I found it on the same day, or GROSS! You'd think that with a drawer full of make up, I might look a little fancier. .jpg)
Before last week, the most frustrating thing in Isaac's life was taking off his pjs. He can do it, but he screeches the whole time. I think he's got bigger problems this week.
The next step is to give me a detailed description of pjs, the process of taking them off, and some other surely important philosophies.
...and finally, freeing the feet is the hardest part. He has several techniques, but "bum in the air " is my favorite.

Baby Girl Jovie
BEAUTIFUL GIRL
We love our new baby girl, Jovie Adeline. She's so pretty and sweet! I don't know how we got along without this little pink wonder. Before she arrived, I thought I would be more comfortable with another boy, but I just love this little girlie so much that I can't imagine anything BUT her. She's perfect.

She's perfect. These are the last pictures of me as the mother of ONE baby, and of us as a three-person family...
I think he was making fun of me for most of the last nine months...
I look appropriately shocked five minutes after meeting her, but baby Jovie is just happy and sweet.
This is the first time Isaac met Jovie. I wish I could keep this protective shield of glass around her for a few weeks while he gets used to this new big brother lifestyle.
She seems to be happy at home - don't let this picture fool you.

I had a little false alarm on Friday so my mom could have all the "fun" of rushing us to the hospital and Popa could play hookie from work and entertain Isaac. Luckily, it was just contractions and not real labor or else TB would have missed it since he was speeding home from a work meeting in Moab. He really did get a ticket and didn't even use the very good excuse that "my wife is in the hospital..."
TB and I went back to the hospital on Saturday morning and I really was in labor this time. Baby girl arrived perfectly on time at 2:35 pm on April 17th. She weighed 6 lbs 10.3 oz (Isaac was 6 lbs 10.5 oz!) and reportedly 17.5 inches long, although she doesn't seem that short. She has dark feathery hair and a really cute face. She has long feet and toes. She looks a little "tan" today, but she's really fair-skinned like me.

Luckily, I moved her before he tried to re-claim this chair. I'm sure he would have tried to move her himself.
