Summer fun

We love bike racing and watched a lot of the Tour of Utah this year.
Isaac is such a smart, funny, and sweet boy and only a little rotten sometimes. This is our beautiful little lady. She is a happy and cool girl. It's pretty easy to take care of her and I just love having a girl to play with. Ikey really loves his little sister Bean, and is gentle most of the time. Does she look a little nervous? Isaac is a funny guy!

Two cute kids in a new place...

We moved into our new house in Holladay on July 3rd. Isaac helped unpack. He likes to eat pancakes on the deck.
He borrowed my camera and took this picture of his little feet.
This little princess is just pretty and sweet. I hate to brag, but she's been sleeping all night for about six weeks, and she moved into her own room when we moved here. A few days after that actually, because I was afraid that I'd miss her, and I do.
Isaac still prefers books to any other toy or to eating.
Jovie can stick five fingers in at once!
Jovie and her daddy!
Everybody is pretty happy at our house!

Babies everywhere!

Beautiful baby Jovie likes to cuddle with her dad. This is Isaac at about the same age in about the same place...
It's fun to dress Jovie up in pretty sun dresses. Since I can't hold her up and take her picture at the same time, she just lays on the couch or in her bed for all these photo shoots. Check back in a couple of months and she should be able to sit up.Isaac is a crazy little man - very funny and very smart. I swear he does wear clothes most of the time, just not in pictures.

I mostly keep some distance between these kids for Jovie's safety, but Isaac likes to check in with her and keeps track of her location all day long.

Baby Burrows

I mean BURROS!HA! TB hates that joke.
This is long-haired Isaac at a picnic with Jovie. I quit cooking while we are working on buying a house, so he was eating something I swore he'd never have: Chicken McNuggets. I cut Isaac's hair on about his 18 month birthday. My mom almost cried because he lost all his curls. He looks like a cute little boy though, and he seems happy with the results.
Baby Jovie Bean (just Bean to Isaac) is so sweet and happy. She's got chubby cheeks and chubby legs and lots of crazy hair. She slept for seven hours one night and nine hours the next. She's kind of an angel. She seems happy at our house. Isaac mostly ignores her, but he really was interested in the vibrating and music features on her bouncy chair.
Luckily, I moved her before he tried to re-claim this chair. I'm sure he would have tried to move her himself. I call this picture "Cozy Jovie".

New pics and stories

This is the first time I gave Jovie a bath. TB did it at the hospital, so he just had to supervise. At first, I was doing ok...then not so great...but in the end she was clean and happy.
Here's Jovie moving her arms and looking around. These are her best tricks for right now. She's sweet and easy.

Isaac's new interest is in rooting around my make up drawer. The other day I found a bottle stashed in there. Do you see it? Luckily I found it on the same day, or GROSS! You'd think that with a drawer full of make up, I might look a little fancier.

Before last week, the most frustrating thing in Isaac's life was taking off his pjs. He can do it, but he screeches the whole time. I think he's got bigger problems this week.

The next step is to give me a detailed description of pjs, the process of taking them off, and some other surely important philosophies.

...and finally, freeing the feet is the hardest part. He has several techniques, but "bum in the air " is my favorite.
