Jovie's first day of school + State Fair

It was Jovie's first day to get dropped off for school. She chose an outfit that was suspiciously similar to her open house outfit two days ago. Maybe it's a uniform.
She didn't miss me or anything. Grandma Rainey came with me to pick up the kids and that was very exciting for everyone. We picked up Ross and headed to the Fairpark for opening day at the fair. We parked a long way away because I am too frugal to pay for parking.
The little goats were so cute, we almost brought one home. Grandma Rainey said she'd watch it for us when we go on vacation.
We tracked down the butter cow. Ross was worried about what they do with the butter after the fair, like it's hardly edible right? Turns out that they save it for next year's sculpture. We saw the artist working with old butter here.
The kids had a shaved ice for a treat and the grandparents had a corndog. I had a frozen chocolate banana...with sprinkles.
